Joel 2:23-25 (NKJV)

23 Be glad then, you children of Zion,
      And rejoice in the LORD your God;
      For He has given you the former rain faithfully,
      And He will cause the rain to come down for you—
      The former rain,
      And the latter rain in the first month.
       24 The threshing floors shall be full of wheat,
      And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil.
       25 “ So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten,
      The crawling locust,
      The consuming locust,
      And the chewing locust,
      My great army which I sent among you.

Rain causes seeds to grow and be nurtured. Rain also represents cleansing, refreshing, refining, and healing. Rain brings prosperity and an abundance of provision as the scripture says, the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil. Rain comes before restoration and to restore means to recondition, reinstate, re-establish and bring back.

What needs to be brought back to the earth?

Isaiah 46:9-10 (NKJV)

9 Remember the former things of old,
      For I am God, and there is no other;
      I am God, and there is none like Me,
       10 Declaring the end from the beginning,
      And from ancient times things that are not yet done,
      Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand,
      And I will do all My pleasure,’

I was in a prayer meeting a few weeks ago and the pastors wife was  praying about the Ancient Prayers. Something ignited inside of me and the Lord prompted me to look up scriptures of Ancient Prayers. It seems now I am writing a manual on what needs to be brought back to the earth through ancient prayers.

Amos 9:11-12 (NKJV)

    11 “ On that day I will raise up
      The tabernacle of David, which has fallen down,
      And repair its damages;
      I will raise up its ruins,
      And rebuild it as in the days of old;
       12 That they may possess the remnant of Edom,
      And all the Gentiles who are called by My name,”
      Says the LORD who does this thing.

This scripture pertains to Israel being restored but look again! It is also for the remnant of Edom and ALL the Gentiles who are called by the name of the Lord!  The Edomites were enemies and God wants spiritual restoration so that even our enemies will be united and know Jesus Christ as Savior. The Lord wants Jews and Gentiles with the Spirit of Christ Jesus as head of the Church, the body of Christ.

The Tabernacle of David was filled with God’s presence. Continually there was praise, worship, prayer and the Word of God being sung or spoken! Truly this is one of the desires in God’s heart that needs to be restored. It will mean that churches world-wide will have a paradigm shift in their prayer meetings and will allow special services designed to give the Holy Spirit time to manifest God’s presence and power. During the early 1900’s Aimee Semple McPherson had a special room called the 500 Room for these type of special services at Angelus Temple in Los Angeles, CA.

This has been our hearts cry for thirty-four years of ministry and marriage. John and I were married only three weeks when we went on a ministry tour with his gospel quartet! I fell more in love with John every time I heard him sing, “Jesus Heal the Little Crippled Boy.” With tears streaming down John’s eyes, the anointing of God would fall on the meeting and people just came running to the altars with no one giving an altar call.

Rev. Dick Mills gave me (Dana) a prophesy when I was ten years old that is still yet to be completely fulfilled. Rev. Mills said, “The Lord says you are one of His handmaidens and in the last days He is going to raise up spiritual sons and daughters,” and he gave the following scripture:

Joel 2:28-29 (NKJV)

    28 “ And it shall come to pass afterward
      That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;
      Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
      Your old men shall dream dreams,
      Your young men shall see visions.
       29 And also on My menservants and on My maidservants
      I will pour out My Spirit in those days.

As a ten year old child I certainly did not understand this scripture but since then it has been given over and over to me on behalf of our ministry. We desire to have spiritual sons and daughters that will restore the presence of God on the earth. Those who will want to help restore the Tabernacle of David with twenty-four hour praise, worship, prayer and the Word of God being sung or spoken!

It’s time for all of us to fulfill God’s Word!  We are to restore the Tabernacle of David, repair damages, raise up ruins, and rebuild the presence of God as in the days of old. If our soul winning is not created out of the presence of God it seems to me we are birthing breach babies. I see the same people at the altars over and over. They are given no power tools to under gird their new spiritual walk and so they go back to their same sinful lifestyle. I’ve been told in the early 1900 revival of old that people were saved and filled with the Holy Spirit at the same time!

 Acts 1:8 (NKJV)

8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Acts 2:4-8 (NKJV)

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Matthew 3:11 (NKJV)

11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

We prayed for a lady recently that said she had been waiting for seven years for someone to help her receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. She received her prayer language in just about thirty seconds.

People are searching and looking and God wants to use YOU! As you take time to be in God’s presence and welcome the Holy Spirit to empower you, God will open doors for you to be HIS witness. The baptism of the Holy Spirit causes people to be able to walk in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. The baptism of the Holy Spirit causes us to pray in other tongues. We speak the language of the Holy Spirit so that we can pray in the spirit even if we do not know what to pray. Our spirit becomes more alive and we are confident and bold so that we can evangelize. We become watered seeds ready to bring  more harvest!

It's time to restore God's Presence and Precious Holy Spirit on the earth! We welcome the rain of the Holy Spirit!
